Lauren Boldt holds a Bachelors degree in Percussion from Boston’s world-renowned Berklee College of Music. This, combined with her extensive dance training, makes her a very busy performer and teacher. Lauren has traveled to over a dozen countries to perform and teach, including Japan, Peru, UK, Austria & Morocco.

In 2006 Lauren moved to Los Angeles to perform with Jillina’s Sahlala Dance Company.  ​From 2008-2012 she toured with the Bellydance Superstars and has appeared in many of their videos including: “Babelesque: BDSS Live in Tokyo” and “Bombay Bellywood: BDSS live from Los Angeles”. Lauren is currently a part of the production team and cast of Bellydance Evolution, and is excited to share her artistic passion and vision with this exciting new project.

 

In addition to these accomplishments Lauren is a published writer, with articles in Gilded Serpent, both online and in print.

 

When Lauren is not on tour with Bellydance Evolution she teaches and performs bellydance in Los Angeles, CA.
